The Castlemaine Theatre Company is a not for profit community theatre. We produce theatre works that are both entertaining and challenging, and support the growth of our community as theatre audiences and practitioners. We have a creative and vibrant Youth Theatre Company who stage their own self devised works. They form an integral part of our activities. We also host ‘Speakeasy’ events on a monthly basis – informal social meetings for our members to experiment with play readings and improvisation. The Castlemaine Theatre Company considers itself theatre for the people, by the people and of the people.

Castlemaine Press is a not-for-profit organisation made up of passionate printmakers who work together to provide a community-access print studio for printmakers near and far – a space where you can hire presses and equipment, do workshops, and take part in collaborative opportunities. We recognise that printmaking facilities are difficult to access and adequate studio
Mirawara is about enhancing cultural and environmental awareness through participation in nature based activities. Mirawara’s vision is to help our community connect with each other, creating a better understanding of our cultural diversity and the connection we all have with our natural environment.
