CFNC is one of Australia’s oldest and proudest sporting clubs and has a rich history of success and notable past players. We compete in the prestigious Bendigo Football Netball League at senior level, the Bendigo Junior Football League at junior level and in the Victorian Country Masters Australian Football League.
The club is one of the largest community organisations in Central Victoria and has over 350 active members pursuing their passion for football and netball. We are both structurally and culturally “one club” in terms of the junior and senior teams and pride ourselves on the active involvement of our senior sportsmen and women in junior development.
Our mission is to have sustainable and successful sporting teams by fostering local talent and encouraging all members of the community to participate. We aim to have fun but are serious in our commitment to excellence and providing pathways to realise potential.
There are many opportunities to be involved, whether it’s playing or coaching, as part of our wonderful volunteer base or joining in our associated social activities. CFNC is the perfect outlet for participation in the Castlemaine community and we actively assume leadership in many broader initiatives, particularly those surrounding health and wellbeing and the participation of local kids in sport.
